Football and Picnics

I had a wonderful weekend of fun and outings!

Can I first just say GO COWBOYS!!!! Seeing as I am the only true Queenslander in this family I am happy to support any team that is competing against those NSW teams!!!!

I had a great Saturday and got to go to my first party! During the afternoon I watched the AFL Grand Final and was happy for Sydney to win seeing as they have had such a good season! Pity about the poor girl who did sing the Australian Anthem and didn't even get her face shown on the telecast!!!

On Saturday night Mum and Dad took me to Matt's Cowboys and Indians Birthday Party! I had a bit of dance and got to hang out with the big people before I went for a snooze on Narelle's bed. I was very good and went straight to sleep when I got home and 12.30am. When is the next party I can go to these are fun!!!

I didn't have to wait to long for my next party! Sunday afternoon we went to a park by the river for Trish and Clint's Engagement Party! It was a beautiful afternoon and I got to hang out with my new friend Ariel! She is a bit bigger than me and can sit up on her own because she doesn't have all this hair weighting down her head!!!

Bring on the weekend! What are we doing this weekend???

An Aftrnoon with Grandma

I have just had an afternoon walking with my Grandma Milne. Mummy had heaps of work to do so Grandma came over to take me out of the house for a while! We went to the park and for a coffee and then had a look at the Coorparoo Real Estate. It was so much fun!! I was very lucky because Cooper didn't come on this walk - just me!

Tomorrow I get to go to Granie Annies for the day while Mum goes to work. I have a great time there plaing on the rug and watching April.

Happy Brithday to Matt and Katrina for yesterday! I know Mum sent them messages and I hope to see them soon.

I have to go for a sleep now! I am exhausted.

Hello to Everyone!

Well Hello All of my Family and Friends!!

This is the first of my Blogs and I hope to have many more! My Mum is going to help me out with things in the beginning because my little fingers have trouble with the keyboard!

I suppose I should start by telling you all about me! My name is Madelyn Eliza Milne. I was born on Monday 13 June which makes me 14 weeks old today! I have had a very eventful life so far with my Mummy Jane and Daddy Alistair. I have been on holidays to Pottsville where we were flooded in, had my first round of injections (sore leg!), been on many big walks with my Mum and Dad and Cooper, and I am just learning to laugh at the moment.

I had a great week last week!
On Wednesday my Mum and Grannie Annie took me to Pottsville as Daddy went to Perth for work. When we got to Pottsville we had a birthday party for my friend Sophie Manifold. There were balloons, streamers, cake and fairy bread! Sophie is a big girl now! She is 3 and can ride a bicycle!!! We spent 3 days at Pottsville and had a lovely time walking on the beach. I even got to dangle my feet in the waves and play in the sand.

On Friday night we came home to meet Daddy after his trip. He was very tired so I was a good girl and played with him for a bit and then went to sleep!

On Saturday we went grocery shopping and then played ball in the back yard with my mate Cooper. Mummy and I cooked a nice dinner of Pesto Polenta for Daddy.

On Sunday Auntie Julie came over for a visit with yummy Banana Muffins! I had a good cuddle with her and then fell asleep on my lambs wool! In the afternoon we went for a very long walk across the Stoy Bridge and through town and back over the Goodwill Bridge. It took one and a half hours! Then we came home to watch the poor old Broncos loose to West Tigers.
I had a great weekend with Daddy and I am looking forward to my adventures this week.

Mummy and I are talking like Pirates today as it is International Talk Like a Pirate Day! Ahhharrr Me Hearties!!! (Mummy wont get me a parrot though?!?!)

This is a picture of me on my favouite farmyard animals rug that my Aunty Amanda gave me! I love rolling around on it in the backyard on these beautiful warm afternoons.
